LEICESTER skipper Chris Harris is celebrating victory in Round 2 of the FIM Long Track World Championship.
The Watling JCB Lions skipper took his first meeting win at Polish venue Ostrow on Saturday to move to within one point of the lead in the series overall.
He battled his way into the Grand Final via the Last Chance heat, and then overtook German star Martin Smolinski to win the big race.
Harris is fourth overall as the six-round series heads to Marmande next month, with a three-way tie for the lead comprising Smolinski, Josef Franc and Zach Wajtknecht.
